The Ormsby Review has announced that it is changing its name. The five-year-old book review site, originally named as an homage to noted BC historian Margaret Ormsby, is re-branding as The British Columbia Review.
Site editor Richard Mackie explains that the new name more accurately reflects its content: reviews, of course, but also commentary, memoir, interviews and scholarship.
"Our new name confirms and reflects the true scope and breadth of our engagement with British Columbia," writes Mackie. Under its new banner, the site remains committed to its original purpose: to offer reviews of all books published by British Columbians about British Columbia.
